ORIS provides faculty support for reliable, responsive information systems required to fulfill the UAMS 2020 Vision and augment connectivity between research data systems.

To address the cross-functional business issues for the University’s research initiative, the Office of Research Information Systems provides leadership, business analysis services, strategic direction in the design/creation/deployment of technical solutions.

Currently, we specialize in the implementation of the Huron Click Commerce modules to:

    • Streamline proposal development and conflict of interest disclosure;
    • Post award reconciliation business processes;
    • Improve efficiency and simplify the administrative process; and
    • Enhance the ability of faculty, research staff, administrators and compliance officers to procure and administer sponsored programs, grants and contracts.
